Having shared most of my life with dogs, I’ve experienced the delight of a well-behaved companion and the difficulties of an unruly one. I understand how demanding schedules and a lack of expertise can complicate dog training. My aim is to strengthen the connection between dogs and their owners, alleviate household stress, and ultimately prevent dogs from being rehomed, surrendered to a shelter/rescue, or euthanized due to behavioral problems.
After serving 23 fulfilling years in Marine Corps infantry operations, I pursued higher education, earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees. My deep-seated passions for teaching, problem-solving, and dog training then converged as I embarked on a career as a professional dog trainer and dog behavior specialist. I honed my skills at the Highland Canine Training School for Dog Trainers’ – Master Dog Trainer Program, where I gained extensive experience training pet dogs, resolving complex behavioral issues, and assisting in the training of police and service dogs.
I now apply this extensive knowledge and experience to Blue Diamond Canine Training, offering a reliable local dog training solution.
